KUALA LUMPUR, February 21, 2012 - College of Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM) are always looking for opportunities to collaborate to benefit MoHE ​​especially internationally. Recently, KPTM was visited by a delegation from the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation Regional Centre for Vocational & Technical Education and Training (SEAMEO VOCTECH) from Brunei Darussalam.

KPTM president, Dato 'Hj Yusoff Harun said, SEAMEO VOCTECH this is an organization that serves as the coordinating center of vocational education and training system in South East Asia.

In this regard, the delegation is to hold talks and seek to establish a cooperative relationship compatibility. It was a good start to the MOHE to forge cooperation with Southeast Asian countries.

KPTM BANGI DEAN AWARDED INFUSE STUDENT SPIRIT

PUTRAJAYA, March 1, 2012 - A total of 300 students at Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM) Bangi Campus Dean's Award Session in July 2011 in conjunction with the best results in exams.
From the list of recipients, 197 students are recipients of the Dean's Award MoHE program, and 103 students in UiTM program. Most of them obtain good results of Grade Point Average (GPA) 3.80 to 4.00.
KPTM president, Dato 'Haji Yusoff Bin Harun said student achievement should be further strengthened in the years to come and make sure there are students who will receive the Presidential Award.

"The success of a student in the academic field will be the ticket to getting a good job, so that students will have to seize the opportunity to compete for a job later," said Dato 'President.

Dato 'Yusoff, in his speech also emphasized pengusaan English language to the students as most business is now more on the use of English. English has become an important element in teaching and learning since most scholarly and reference books is also in English, as well as in administrative jobs.

KPTM Bangi examination results have improved from time to time. This percentage increase factor is due to the teaching and learning system in good condition and each has adopted a quality management system.

KUALA LUMPUR - Poly-Tech College MARA (KPTM) recently made ​​history when six selected students to pursue a variety of universities in the United Kingdom recently.

They are selected under the sponsorship of the MARA Education Loan Scheme which offers under the MARA Institute (IPMA) to study abroad.

Under the IPMA, KPTM acquire 200 places a year to send students to other countries began in 2012 to 2015 or subject to change MARA. Among the targeted selection of Country is the United States, New Zealand, and Australia.
